Preschooler Walked Into a Firehouse with Resume in Hand and Got a JobA lot of kids dream of becoming a firefighter when they grow up. For three-year-old Oliver Lipinski, that’s way too long, and so the boy walked into the Parksville Volunteer Fire Department (PVFD)'s headquarters with a resume in hand to apply for a position. And guess what, he got the job!The whole thing started when his parents drove him by the firehouse during recruitment campaign season a few weeks prior. Immediately, Oliver made it known that he wished to become a firefighter, too. His parents then began helping him prepare a resume detailing his education, experience, and keen interest in firefighting. On the last day of recruitment, Oliver, dressed in full firefighting getup, came to hand in his application. Not only that, the toddler showed remarkable knowledge about firefighting and its safety precautions for his age. In the end, the boy is deemed qualified for the 2034 recruit class as a junior member. The future is definitely looking bright for him!Image: Parksville Volunteer Fire Department#job #firefighter #resume #toddler
Chino Valley Fire Department in California has a Whole Lot of New Dads and BabiesLooks like the pandemic got these men all fired up.It’s baby mania at this Chino Valley Fire District, as fifteen of its crew welcomed new babies in the span of 12 months. The men and their babies captured this rare moment for a photo-op at the Chino Valley fire station. The firefighters in their uniforms each hoisted their babies - also in matching outfits - as they adorably posed for the camera in front of the fire truck. Many of these firefighters are first-time fathers. The age of the babies range between three weeks and 12 months old. While their job is normally putting out fire, we certainly do not mind melting for this one!#baby #FireDepartment #ChinoValley #dad #firefighter
