Upon learning of Embla’s plight, President Stevo Pendarovski saw a way to support the girl while promoting inclusivity in the country. He visited her and her family to learn about the challenges of their daily life and brainstorm ideas to better assist children with Down Syndrome. He then walked her to school and escorted her all the way to the building.
