The Kosk is the Nose Only Covid-19 Mask in South Korea

Dining out has become a pretty tricky affair since the coronavirus spread. Now, one mask brand in South Korea attempts to ease this situation by selling a nose-only mask. The unusual mask, called ‘kosk’ which is a combination of the words ‘ko’ (nose in Korean language) and ‘mask’, consists of two pieces, one of which can be removed to leave the mouth uncovered.

Atman, the company behind this kosk, is retailing the item at 9,800 won.

Predictably, it has attracted mixed reactions on the internet. One commenter suggested that wearing this type of mask is no different than people wearing a mask under the nose. However, another claims that since coronavirus is easiest to enter our body through the nose, this idea isn’t as strange as many believe. What do YOU think?
