One Man Orchestra: Cellist Cremaine Booker Performed Gabriel Fauré's "Pavane" Piece for 12 Cellos All by Himself

The more the merrier simply doesn’t apply here.

The pandemic has driven artists to get creative with showcasing their work, one such example is what cellist Cremaine Booker, also known as That Cello Guy on the internet, pulled off recently. He performed an orchestral version of Pavane, a 1887 music composed by Gabriel Fauré that was originally a 12-cello piece, all by himself.

Booker, a principal cello of the Nashville Philharmonic Orchestra, performed each of the twelve parts before putting them all together with the magic of editing. The result is a beautiful one-man orchestral performance. The biggest challenge, he admitted, was getting the timing right for all the takes. But the result, as we can see, is totally worth all that jazz.
