Gas prices are what people are talking about, so local news stations report on it. But it doesn't matter where you live, those stories are all going to be the same. They teach this formula in broadcast school. But if you are of a certain age, you might have a sense of deja vu. These stories have been the same since the 1970s at least, and will continue to pop up every few years for the foreseeable future. Hey, gas was just as expensive in 2006 when I had a long-distance relationship. It was just as expensive in 2013 when I took the family on a continental road trip.
