At least he's going for a superhero position. We really don't have enough comic book superheroes who are actual animals. Black Panther and Wolverine are men with animal names and talents. Rocket Raccoon is a good start, but Rudolph defeating a super villain by flying around the world flashing his red nose would make a good story. It makes sense that Rudolph would downplay his most amazing powers, since they are common where he is from. The ability to stand out from a crowd in the workplace is more valuable than one's actual work.
