An ogre demands a tribute before he will let our hero cross the bridge. If that sounds a bit like the troll from the story <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three_Billy_Goats_Gruff">The Three Bill Goats Gruff</a>, that's what I thought, too. He even demands a goat. As the list goes on, you start to anticipate that there's going to be a barbecue by the end of the story. A fire, a goat, potatoes, and wine- well, that sounds like a party right there! But alas, the ogre is not what you think.

Yeah, he's just a young kid on an errand for his mother. Size can be deceiving in fairy tale land. Our hero gets to cross the bridge, but I'd like to think that he was also invited to have dinner with the ogre family. We know what's on the menu!
