A woman from Spartanburg County made a fuss early in the morning when she called 911 three times over the same disputewith her son over his girlfriend. The woman first made a call just before midnight. To the deputy who arrived, the apparently inebriated woman reported on her son, whom she claimed had invited his girlfriend over against her wishes. The deputy then explained that since her son was a resident of the house, he was entitled to bring guests to the home. Furthermore, the son told the officer that he was only staying for a night before returning to New York the next day.But the calls didn’t stop. The mother called again after 12 am and then at nearly 5 am despite being repeatedly told the same information by the deputies. On the third call, the woman was arrested instead for misuse of 911.
