British Tourist Reunited with False Teeth He Lost While Vacationing in Spain 11 Years AgoCongratulations? Paul Bishop lost his dentures during a night out in Benidorm, Spain. Eleven years later, the now 63-year-old was able to get his fake teeth back thanks to authorities utilizing current DNA tracking technology. Bishop’s false teeth fell while vomiting into a bin in a Spanish party resort. "I had downed the rest of my cider and it decided to come back up. The bin was the closest thing to me.” He told BBC Northwest Tonight. Spanish authorities found his dentures in a landfill and were able to track him to his home in Greater Manchester. Bishop initially thought that he was pranked after seeing his long-lost artificial teeth. The whole incident, Bishop shared, was unbelievable. "Everyone knows about my famous teeth... I am going to have to open a Stalybridge teeth museum," he shared. Image credit: PA Media #dentures #lostandfound #DNA #Spain Update Feb 2022: The truth behind the viral fake teeth story may actually be stranger than meets the eye.
