Deck Us All With Boston CharlieNostalgia time! Walt Kelly gave us the comic strip Pogo, and he also gave us a nonsensical Christmas song. There is no official recording of "Deck Us All With Boston Charlie," but we all know how to sing it. The lyrics were in the comic strips, and the tune is "Deck the Halls." This particular recording was made in 1981 by the hastily assembled Walt Kelly Memorial Choir. Roger May, a radio DJ in San Francisco at the time, recruited the group of friends to sing, recorded it on a cassette, and played it every Christmas for years afterward.
The Stress of Christmas DinnerWhen you're a kid, everything about Christmas is wonderful. But if something is missing, then it's a tragedy.
