California Reporter Talking About a Hit-and-Run Becomes a Witness to a Car Accident That Appears to Be Another Hit-and-Run
Reporting a hit-and-run incident while a new one happens at the back — all live, on-air on TV.KTLA anchor Gene Kang was reporting on a deadly hit-and-run collision in South Los Angeles when he was interrupted by a car collision that seemed to be a similar traffic mishap.
Car Crashed Into a Van During a Pedestrian Safety Event
Talk about irony. In Las Vegas, a car rear-ended another vehicle when it stopped to allow a pedestrian in heart costume to cross the street. What’s with the costume you ask? The pedestrian was actually part of a police event promoting pedestrian awareness and safety, aptly named the “Have a Heart : Stop for Pedestrians” campaign. As the campaign volunteer was entering the marked crosswalk, the passing van actually managed to stop in time to allow him to pass through. However, the car behind it did not and it slammed into the van. The incident was the second time such a thing happened during an awareness event. In the first five weeks of 2022 alone, 7 people have died of traffic accidents in Las Vegas Valley. Well, this incident certainly proved the importance of such an awareness campaign.Image: Univision Nevada#CarAccident #car #van #pedestrian #LasVegas
