A Flight Tracking Map Shows A Pilot Expertly Giving The Middle Finger to Washington StateWhat would you do if you were a pilot? Will you challenge yourself by going across the globe like those pilots of old, or would you try to do some sick stunts and maneuvers? Or maybe you're not interested in doing those. Perhaps you just want to do funny stuff in the air, like this unnamed pilot in Washington. On August 29, 9:15 AM PDT, the Piper Navajo aircraft with a tail number of N59906 took off. Some 7 hours later, at 4:09 PM, the plane finally returns. The pilot spent over thirty minutes drawing a giant middle finger. But what about his remaining time? Well, it seems he didn't find much use for it. He just spent it creating zig-zags on northern Whatcom County and British Columbia airspace. Talk about drawing giant scribbles in the air.The story was posted on Reddit, and Reddit users praised the man's commitment and great attention to detail, with one pointing out that he even drew the thumb nail. The Bellingham Herald, who first picked up the story, notes that the middle finger pointed towards Whatcom County. As to why he did such a thing, nobody knows.(Image Credit: FlightAware)#Washington #Funny #Pilots #Aircraft #Airplanes
Elderly Couple Thought Crashed Drone was an Alien SpaceshipAn elderly couple was in their home when an object from the sky crashed in their garden.Surprised and shaken, the two then went near the mysterious item that crashed in their home in Tokat, Turkey. The man grabbed a stick and pointed it at the crashed object, which was actually a drone (and was actually recording the entire encounter). After initially warning his wife to stay away from the device, the two agreed that it was something that looked from outer space.  “Yes, it came from space! Don’t touch it, it has a bright light on it. Do you think it is going to explode? Do not get close to it. It has a light on,” the elderly man said, agreeing with his wife. The owner of the drone, Umut Izgi arrived a few minutes after to pick up the aircraft. However, the couple was still scared and worried that they have been invaded by extraterrestrial creatures and called someone, a local teacher who reassured them that they are safe from aliens. Izgi uploaded the footage of the incident six years later when the couple died to avoid embarrassing them. He was surprised that the video went viral and has gathered six million views. “I am happy that it is going viral, as it puts a smile on people’s faces in these hard times,” he said.Image credit: Umut Izgi/Zenger#drone #aircraft #Turkey #couple #elderly
