Anna Mellor bought a pair of lightly-used running shoes online, and her husband Rory volunteered to clean them for her. When she was putting them on for the first time, Mellor pulled the shoe's tongues out to loosen them. That's when she saw the writing. Under the shoe tongues was written, "I Fila lot better when ur around." She thought it charming, and went to tell Rory about the previous shoe owner's adorable love note.
Rory was shocked and confused. Not by the note, which he had written himself, but by the fact that he'd been writing love notes in her shoes for years, and this was the first one she'd found! Mellor was shocked and delighted to learn that, and went to check all her other sneakers. And then she told everyone on TikTok.
