Perhaps Wendy’s should start selling roasted meals because they’re so good at doing it!
Rivalries between fast food chains often birth really amusing moments where they troll each other in the advertisements. Wendy’s and McDonald’s are no different. In the past, the two have traded barbs to prove who’s more superior.
And now, the latest Wendy’s ad has taken another pot shot at McDonald’s. Advertising their brand-new french fries recipe that they claim to have fresher and crispier consistency upon delivery, Wendy’s decides to roast McDonald’s famous French fries. The new billboards feature an arched fries shaped uncannily like half of McDonald’s signature golden arch while the copy reads, “Hot & Crispy Fries Don’t Arch - Just sayin’”
Social media has a field day with the cheeky ad, no doubt a successful strategy on Wendy’s part. Your move, McDonald’s!
