The Office ran for nine seasons and ended in 2013, yet we are still seeing new parts of it as NBC Peacock is divulging unused scenes from the series. Over the holiday weekend, they released this cold open scene from season four, in which Michael Scott has an accident in the bathroom and for some reason has to tell everyone about it.
Yeah, it's toilet humor (or "toilet tragedy" as Scott would put it), but it's funny, and you have to wonder why they didn't use this skit. That would have been around 2009, and there's nothing all that gross about it, so it couldn't be because the network was squeamish about the subject matter. And there were plenty of opportunities to slip this one into a later episode. You have to wonder how many other unaired gems The Office has in the vault. -via Digg
