Uh, yikes!
In the latest season of Netflix’s dating variety show Love Is Blind, one of the male contestants decided to be… weird. For those who do not know this show, it puts men and women together, with the twist that they will never see each other until they get engaged or married in the end. The show, now on its fourth season, is notable for stirring up reality TV with its standout moments– no matter how odd they are. Shock value, perhaps?
One of the contestants in season four, Zack Goytowski, went viral for being on a cringe-worthy date with his wife-to-be and fellow contestant, Irina Solomonova. The two were sent to Mexico to unwind before getting officially married at the altar. Goytowski, a criminal defense attorney, was seen telling Solomonova that they should name their children after Elden Ring bosses.
Their conversation before this topic was already a bit awkward, but things got even more awkward with that gamer topic segment. “So before we were talking about [baby] names… What about Godfrey?” Goytowski said referring to the video game’s First Elden Lord, aka the husband of Queen Marika.
His fiancee was visibly unimpressed, and responded with an “ew.” But Goytowski did not relent, continuing to name other bosses in the game, such as Godrick. Well, the two didn’t really get married in the end, as the pair broke up on their last night of vacation in Mexico.
