There’s a famous (and profanity-laden) scene in the classic film Office Space that speaks to, I think, all of us about the shared human experience with printers. There are printers that are okay and printers that are terrible, but there are no printers that are good. And the worst of printers are akin to the two Beasts in the Book of Revelation (one black and white and the other color).
Ellis Rosen, a cartoonist for the New Yorker, understands this suffering. In a recent cartoon, he describes a cartoonist who cathartically finds productive artistic expression through one of these monsters in our midst.
