I would really like to meet and am somewhat afraid of Zach Cranor, the artist to blame for/responsible for Last Place Comics. His mind goes delves into the underside of the human soul with results that are simultaneously enlightening and disturbing.
In this retelling of The Matrix, our hero doesn’t get to choose whether he wants to stay in the real world or in his delusions. He discovers the reality beneath the surface through sheer accident. There’s a glitch in the matrix and he learns the true nature of human existence.
The good news is that humans aren’t being used as batteries.
The bad news is that we're being used for other purposes.
