I grew up before the internet, so my youthful hijinks—assuming that they even existed, which they most certainly did not—were not digitized and subject to a simple Google search.
Bear is not so fortunate. Bear is much younger. Bear has had access to the internet since the age of twelve. Bear posted things on online message boards, MySpace pages, and even early Facebook that were imprudent.
In this webcomic by Nathan W. Pyle, Bear protests, “That’s not fair.” No, it’s not. But the online world is not fair. The online world is ruthless. So Bear had better watch himself unless he would like for blog posts from 2008 to go public.
