The Internet has a sharp eye!
An advertisement for a high-end yacht party in China offered VIP “personal maid” services for those who wish to avail of their services. The party was supposed to be held on Jinji Lake, located in eastern China’s Jiangsu province.
The ads took the attention of quite many few thanks to the promise of a special perk included in the party, which was the one-on-one waiting service, provided that they only pay 3,000 yuan (US$430). Interested parties contacted the party organizer and were sent 43 portraits of the “maids” they can choose from– the women were dressed in erotic outfits for their viewing pleasure. However, while this looked too good to be true, the recipients noticed that the ladies in the posters either had missing or extra fingers. Upon closer inspection, they discovered that they were fake portraits generated by AI.
According to the police, the yacht party organizer, who remained unidentified was spoken to, and the matter has been “settled.”
