Precision is not the same as accuracy. You can be very precise and still be inaccurate. Conversely, you can be very accurate but show very little precision in your communication. You could look those terms up at Wikipedia, and find your brain scrambled by the explanation. Or you could just look at a recent xkcd comic. To illustrate the difference, Randall Munroe made this graph with "facts" that show a range of both precision and accuracy.
That's much more understandable! It's only when you get to the last block that you realize how all these "facts" relate to each other, but you may be laughing at the absurdity instead of nodding in agreement about his point. This comic is from Randall Munroe at xkcd. ā
