A few weeks ago, a bizarre video from cosmetics company TBH Skincare went viral. It showed young women in a circle chanting about what they were wearing as the camera bounced back and forth.
Like every other Gen Xer, I asked, "What the hell is this thing?" The rhetorical purpose of the video was (and remains for me) incomprehensible. But it immediately triggered cringe reactions due to the sheer indignity in which the ladies seem to joyfully place themselves in the workplace.
