When asked about their favorite drink, almost every adult that I know will say that it is beer. Will this remain true if they know that beer is possibly made from recycled urine?
Newater, Singapore's brand of clean and high-quality recycled water, has launched "Newbrew". It is a new craft beer that went on sale recently. Since the process to create this requires the use of clean water, it shows that Singapore's recycled water has really adhered to the international standards of safe and clean drinking water.
Although it is not the first beer to be brewed using recycled water, Newbrew still makes a significant impact in terms of educating the citizens on the importance of water recycling and water sustainability. Indeed, sustainability can be delicious.
