To some extent, we understand why the mother is upset.
Sharon decided to go all out for her daughter’s 18th birthday. Instead of throwing her a fabulous party, she decided to purchase $4,500 worth of tickets to a Taylor Swift concert at Gillette Stadium. Her child was happy, no doubt. However, this kid decided to come in with an emotional steel chair after deciding to give her mother’s ticket to her best friend (for free). "[...] So it wasn't until a couple of days that I brought up the concert again and she said something about her best friend, Casey," Sharon told Country Mornings with Ayla Brown, a radio show on Boston's Country 102.5. "And it stopped me dead in my tracks."
The two best friends, who met in elementary school went to the concert. However, they had to rely on Ubers, which cost them up to $400. Much to the mother’s dismay, her child also asked for money to pay for their transportation, which made her furious. The majority of the Internet, in an unofficial poll online, has said that Sharon’s daughter was being a bit ungrateful.
