How to Impress Her Family

Okay, this video is well worth reading subtitles, but there's a chance you may miss something and have to go back and watch it again to get the full effect. That's not bad, because it's still funny the second time around. You also need to be aware of a gesture that's used as a shortcut to indicate attraction, that of a girl twirling her hair a little. Maybe you've never noticed it in real life, but you're supposed to understand it in movies. In the Argentinian ad called "Braids," a young man has dinner with his girlfriend's family and gets to meet them all for the first time. You know how nerve-wracking that can be. What might not be apparent is that this ad is for soda, but that's really not important. The agency BBDO won awards for this one. -via reddit
