Our modern shortcut for drawing a ghost is a simple image of a person wearing a sheet with eyeholes cut out of it, with no legs or feet in order to indicate they are a "real" ghost. It's easy to draw and universally recognized. But in the hands of the world's most renowned artists, the classic ghost cartoon drawing can take on many different styles.
