This practice is called a “foodie call”. It’s a deceptive practice in which some people go on dates with people just to get a free meal. A 2019 study revealed that a quarter of women surveyed admitting to engaging in this trickery.
This praying mantis lady is an eager participant. I sure hope that the last guy that she took advantage of has wised up and plans to never see her again. It’s the sort of incident that would make some men swear off dating forever.
