My, how the tables turn.
Bob Knodel, a famous flat earther spent thousands of dollars to try and prove the planet is flat, only to prove the opposite. The man was filming for Behind the Curve, a documentary for Netflix, when he decided to spend a staggering $20,000 on a DIY experiment.
His test involved a laser gyroscope. With that device, a camera, and two holes, his experiment aimed to show that if the light can be seen with a camera passing through the holes in the fence, and the torch all at equal differences above the ground, then he could draw a positive conclusion that the Earth is flat. Safe to say that it didn’t turn out the way he wanted it to be.
“What we found is, when we turned on that gyroscope we found that we were picking up a drift. A 15-degree-per-hour drift,” Knodel spoke up on his YouTube channel. “We obviously were not willing to accept that, and so we started looking for ways to disprove it was actually registering the motion of the Earth.”
