It is difficult to pinpoint the exact reason that made 4-year-old Aubrin Sage's Instagram video go viral—her age, her adorable dinosaur outfit, the fact that she's a snowboarding 4-year-old, or her witty snowboarding narration. It is highly possibly a combination of all four.
Sage started snowboarding in 2018, when she was just 18 months old. This February 2022, Sage is 4 years old, and father Robert Garlow wanted a glimpse into her thought process while snowboarding. The solution? A microphone attached to Sage's dinosaur jacket.
Throughout the whole clip, Sage was not scared of voicing her thoughts out loud. Viewers were awed by Sage's cuteness. At one moment, she got stuck in the snow and called herself a "stuck-asaurus." Garlow shared that snowboarding has taught Sage many lessons, including overcoming adversity and building confidence.
Perhaps, today, all of us can learn from Sage: "I won't fall. Maybe I will. That's okay, 'cause we all fall."
