The man is being lauded online for his swift reaction during the incident, where he quickly shielded his injured son who was about to get horned by the loose bull.
The rodeo incident was caught on camera at the Bell County Expo Center. Both father and son are no stranger to bullfighting. Hooks himself used to ride bulls.
