The plane was being taken off to be scrapped, so the excavator operator gave it one last flight, in the manner of a six-year-old. That's kind of sweet when you think about it. The people who operate heavy equipment can be real pros. They do amazing things, but when they show off, they try to do something the rest of us can relate to, like dressing a hot dog.
Or opening a beer, which is a go-to trick for impressing others.
They even stage contests for precision. Humans will make any activity into a competition.
And participate in choreographed ballet.
