Hermit crabs normally wear a seashell as protective armor and as a home. But they aren't that picky- it doesn't have to be a seashell; the size matters more to them than what it looks like. In this comic, a hermit crab stumbles upon a magic lantern. But he doesn't know what a magic lantern is, and doesn't care as long as it makes a good shell for his needs.
You might say the moral of the story is "Be careful what you wish for." But wait... this crab still hasn't seen the genie, and still doesn't understand how his wishes come true.
